"Extended Deterrence in the Asia Pacific"

Yun (Claudia) He is a Fulbright Fellow at CISSM and a Ph.D candidate at Tsinghua University, Beijing. She has written about U.S.-China arms control issues in both Chinese and English publications and has extensive connections with the Chinese defense and arms control community. She participated in a number of track 2 and track 1.5 U.S.-China strategic dialogues. Prior to Joining CISSM, she was the first Tsinghua visiting scholar at Cambridge University, UK.

Ms. He received her M.A. and B.A. in Law from Tsinghua University and studied at Sydney University with an Australian government grant. Her current research includes North Korean nuclear development, the Sino-Vietnamese War, and strategic arms control with a special focus on the stability-instability paradox, which is the topic of her dissertation.
