Jill Maloney is a first-year Master’s student at the Maryland School of Public Policy, specializing in International Security and Economic Policy, and a graduate assistant at CISSM. Jill graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a dual-major in Political Science and International Affairs after only two-and-a-half years. At Georgia, she was a Richard B. Russell Security Leadership Scholar at the Center for International Trade and Security. After graduation she was a Next Generation Safeguards Initiative Intern at Idaho National Laboratory and is continuing to work with them during her studies at Maryland. She is a Robertson Fellow at the University of Maryland and also competes on the University of Maryland Track and Field team as a javelin thrower.
