Jincui Zhang is an associate professor of International Relations at the School of Social Sciences, Shanghai University. She received her Ph.D in International Relations from the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University (Shanghai, China) in 2007. At present, her research interests include Sino-Indian Relations, International Strategy, and Sino-US relations. In recent years, she has mainly focused on the disputes over transnational rivers between China and India. She is also a Fellow of the Center for Global Studies of Shanghai University. She is the author of the U.S Military Sanctions against China: from Defending "Human Rights" to Preventing "Threat" published by Social Sciences Academic Press of China. This book was awarded as one of "Ten Choice Books in International Relations in 2011". Her articles have been published in journals including the American Studies Quarterly, Foreign Affairs Review, International Politics Quarterly, International Forum, etc. She is the recipient of one National Social Science Fund of China and one Innovation Program of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
