Lindsay Rand is a master’s student at the Maryland School of Public Policy. Lindsay is specializing in International Security and Economic Policy, and working as a graduate assistant at CISSM. Lindsay received her bachelor’s degree from Carleton College with a double major in Physics and Classical Studies. Lindsay has also attended graduate courses in nuclear health and nonproliferation physics at Georgetown University, where she conducted research on the feasibility of lightweight radiation detection robots, and presented her research at the Health Physics Society spring 2017 meeting. As a graduate assistant at CISSM, Lindsay will be assisting with CISSM outreach and nuclear policy research. Lindsay is interested in both national and international radioactive material management and nonproliferation strategy.
