Event Description

Every year CISSM offers research opportunities to support School of Public Policy students and faculty interested in pursuing projects in line with CISSM's research agenda.

Join us in person or virtually to learn more about current CISSM-supported projects and research opportunities for School of Public Policy students and faculty including the upcoming 2022 CISSM Seed Grant competition call for proposals.

As a part of the showcase, 2020 Seed Grant winners, Dr. Catherine Worsnop and Dr. Alec Worsnop, will discuss their ongoing research on insurgents and pandemic response.

Additionally, CISSM is excited to announce the 2022 Summer Graduate Research Assistant Awards to help compensate for the shortage of internships as a result of the pandemic. These awards will give current MPP students opportunities to contribute to advancing research projects of CISSM faculty members. Descriptions of the eligible faculty research projects and expected responsibilities of graduate RAs as well as directions on how to submit an application can be found here. More information about the Summer Graduate RA Awards will be provided at the event.
